Stanhope Elmore Mustangs (Millbrook, AL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Wetumpka Indians (Wetumpka, AL), 63-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Stanhope Elmore upgrades its record to 13-6 on the season. The Mustangs host Prattville (Prattville, AL) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 18-5. Prattville won 58-45 in their recent league bout against Enterprise (Enterprise, AL)

Next up, the Indians play the Montgomery Academy Eagles (Montgomery, AL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Wetumpka will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record.
