In Friday's league outing, the Thomas Nelson Generals (Bardstown, KY) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Washington County Commanders (Springfield, KY), by a margin of 61-35.

The Generals (10-9) will now prepare for their outing against Sayre (Lexington, KY). The Spartans go into the non-league outing with a 4-18 record. In their last outing, Sayre was trounced by Bluegrass United (Lexington, KY), 59-21, in a non-league outing.

The Commanders now own a 3-13 record. They play next when they travel to Caverna for a non-league outing on Monday, January 29.
