Timber Creek Falcons (Fort Worth, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host V.R. Eaton Eagles (Fort Worth, TX), 45-36 in a league bout.

With the win, Timber Creek upgrades its record to 16-12 on the season. The Falcons travel to Keller (Keller, TX) to play the Indians in a 6A Region I District 4 bout on Friday, February 2. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 13-12.

Next up, the Eagles play the Southlake Carroll Dragons (Southlake, TX) in a 6A Region I District 4 bout, on Tuesday, January 30. V.R. Eaton will attempt to upgrade on its 5-15 season record. The Dragons go into the bout with a 25-5 record after their 55-30 league win over Keller Central (Keller, TX).
