Virginia High School Basketball - Westfield knocked off by Oakton

The Oakton Cougars basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting Westfield Bulldogs to 27 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.
The Cougars now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Lakes for a non-league contest on Monday, January 29. Oakton will meet a Seahawks team coming off a 34-33 non-league win over Chantilly (Chantilly, VA). The Seahawks record now stands at 11-0.
The Bulldogs (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Centreville (Clifton, VA). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Centreville ran past James Madison (Vienna, VA), 40-32, in a non-league contest.
