Broadway Gobblers (Broadway, VA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host William Monroe Dragons (Stanardsville, VA), 46-16 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Broadway upgrades its record to 11-6 on the campaign. The Gobblers travel to Staunton (Staunton, VA) to play the Storm in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Storm come into the bout with a record of 12-1. Staunton won 24-23 in their recent non-league bout against Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA)

Next up, the Dragons play the Turner Ashby Knights (Bridgewater, VA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 29. William Monroe will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Knights come into the bout with a 13-2 record after their 33-17 non-league win over East Rockingham (Elkton, VA).
