The Newbury Park Panthers basketball team scored 30 points and restricted the visiting Calabasas Coyotes to 16 in the Panthers league victory on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 7-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westlake for a contest on Tuesday, January 30. Newbury Park will battle a Warriors team coming off a 60-9 non-league loss to Palisades (Pacific Palisades, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 7-11.

The Coyotes (1-9) will now prepare for their contest against Oaks Christian (Westlake Village, CA). The Lions come into the contest with a 9-5 record. In their last contest, Oaks Christian prevailed over Agoura (Agoura, CA), 43-14, in a league contest.
