Centennial Golden Hawks (Bakersfield, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Stockdale Mustangs (Bakersfield, CA), 35-32 in a league bout.

With the victory, Centennial upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Golden Hawks travel to Highland (Bakersfield, CA) to play the Scots in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 31. The Scots come into the bout with a record of 1-8.

Next up, the Mustangs play the Independence Falcons (Bakersfield, CA) in a bout, on Monday, February 5. Stockdale will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record.
