The Hickory Red Tornadoes basketball team scored 25 points and held the host East Lincoln Mustangs to 17 in the Red Tornadoes non-league triumph on Friday.

The Red Tornadoes now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Lincoln for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 30.

The Mustangs (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Statesville (Statesville, NC). The Greyhounds enter the non-league contest with a 1-6 record.
