The E.E. Smith Golden Bulls basketball team (Fayetteville, NC), was nudged 32-29 in Friday's league battle with the host Triton Hawks (Erwin, NC)
The Hawks now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Terry Sanford for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 30. Triton will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 30-12 league loss to Overhills (Spring Lake, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-3.
The Golden Bulls (2-5) will now prepare for their battle against Overhills (Spring Lake, NC). The Jaguars come into the battle with a 7-1 record. In their last battle, Overhills edged Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC), 30-12, in a league battle.
