North Carolina High School Basketball - Suffolk Christian Academy fells New Life Academy

Suffolk Christian Academy Knights (Suffolk, VA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host New Life Academy Bobcats (Elizabeth City, NC), 35-16 in a league bout.

With the win, Suffolk Christian Academy upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Knights host Victory Christian (Elizabeth City, NC) to play the Eagles in a game on Friday, February 2. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 12-1. Victory Christian won 30-22 in their recent league challenge against Bethel Christian (Hampton, VA)

Next up, the Bobcats play the Bethel Assembly Christian Academy Eagles (Windsor, NC) in a challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. New Life Academy will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 2-8 record after their 30-24 league loss to Victory Christian (Elizabeth City, NC).
