CHAMPS Panthers (Van Nuys, CA) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Bert Corona Charter Knights (Pacoima, CA), 3-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Panthers confront the Lakeview Charter Lions (Sylmar, CA) in a North Valley challenge, on Monday, January 29. CHAMPS will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record. The Lions enter the challenge with a 10-8 record after their 0-0 league Valley Oaks CES (Sun Valley, CA).

With the loss, Bert Corona Charter drops to 0-6 on the season. The Knights travel to Triumph Charter (Sylmar, CA) to meet the Jaguars in a North Valley test on Tuesday, January 30. The Jaguars come into the test with a record of 12-7. Triumph Charter won 3-0 in their recent league test against Community Charter (Lakeview Terrace, CA)
