South Stokes Sauras (Walnut Cove, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Alleghany Trojans (Sparta, NC), 50-26 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, South Stokes upgrades its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Sauras host Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC) to play the Granite Bears in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Granite Bears come into the bout with a record of 5-7. Mount Airy won 50-43 in their recent non-league bout against East Wilkes (Ronda, NC)

Next up, the Trojans play the Mount Airy Granite Bears (Mount Airy, NC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 31. Alleghany will attempt to upgrade on its 0-12 season record.
