The Aspen Skiers basketball team (Aspen, CO), was overwhelmed 49-24 in Friday's league battle with the host Coal Ridge Titans (New Castle, CO)

The Titans now possess a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Steamboat Springs for a battle on Saturday, January 27. Coal Ridge will battle a Sailors team coming off a 28-25 non-league win over Moffat County (Craig, CO). The Sailors record now stands at 4-1.

The Skiers (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Basalt (Basalt, CO). The Longhorns come into the non-league battle with a 0-11 record. In their last battle, Basalt was overwhelmed by Delta (Delta, CO), 66-25, in a non-league battle.
