The Ben L. Smith Golden Eagles (Greensboro, NC) basketball felled the visiting Atkins Camels (Winston-Salem, NC), 65-46 in Friday's non-league test.

The Golden Eagles (8-4) will now prepare for their test against Rockingham County (Wentworth, NC). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 3-14 record. In their last test, Rockingham County thwarted Southern Guilford (Greensboro, NC), 46-45, in a non-league test.

The Camels now own a 1-15 record. They play next when they travel to Dudley for a test on Tuesday, January 30. Atkins will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 56-33 league win over High Point Central (High Point, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 10-0.
