Craig County Rockets (New Castle, VA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Bath County Chargers (Hot Springs, VA), 29-26 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Craig County upgrades its record to 2-10 on the campaign. The Rockets host Eastern Montgomery (Elliston, VA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 9-7. Eastern Montgomery won 54-24 in their recent non-league bout against Bath County (Hot Springs, VA)

Next up, the Chargers play the Eastern Montgomery Mustangs (Elliston, VA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 29. Bath County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 8-7 record after their 38-27 non-league win over Narrows (Narrows, VA).
