The Beechcroft Cougars basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Mifflin Punchers to 38 in the Cougars league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Columbus International for a contest on Tuesday, January 30.

The Punchers (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Central Crossing (Grove City, OH). The Comets enter the non-league contest with a 3-5 record.
