Gig Harbor Tides (Gig Harbor, WA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Capital Cougars (Olympia, WA), 68-43 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Gig Harbor upgrades its record to 13-3 on the campaign. The Tides travel to North Thurston (Lacey, WA) to play the Rams in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Rams come into the bout with a record of 14-3. North Thurston won 60-48 in their recent non-league bout against Yelm (Yelm, WA)

Next up, the Cougars play the Central Kitsap Cougars (Silverdale, WA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 1. Capital will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record.
