In Friday's non-league outing, the Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC) basketball squad beat the visiting Carson Cougars (China Grove, NC), by a count of 50-42.
The Vikings (5-3) will now prepare for their outing against Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Trojans go into the non-league outing with a 5-7 record. In their last outing, Northwest Cabarrus was topped by Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC), 56-35, in a non-league outing.
The Cougars now hold a 3-9 record. They play next when they host West Rowan for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 30.
