In Friday's non-league battle, the visiting Richland Bombers basketball team scored a good 76-67 victory over the Chiawana Riverhawks.
The Bombers now possess a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southridge for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 27. Richland will confront a Suns team coming off a 58-42 non-league win over Walla Walla (Walla Walla, WA). The Suns record now stands at 8-8.
The Riverhawks (14-2) will now prepare for their battle against Pasco (Pasco, WA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 2-15 record. In their last battle, Pasco was toppled by Hermiston (Hermiston, WA), 55-53, in a non-league battle.
