The Mountain Island Charter Raptor basketball team (Mt. Holly, NC), was overwhelmed 70-28 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Christ the King Crusaders (Huntersville, NC)

The Crusaders now possess a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bradford Prep for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 30. Christ the King will confront a Bears team coming off a 70-56 league win over Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC). The Bears record now stands at 14-2.

The Raptor (7-9) will now prepare for their battle against Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC). The Pride come into the battle with a 12-5 record. In their last battle, Pine Lake Prep was overwhelmed by Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC), 70-56, in a league battle.
