The Gridley Bulldogs basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the host Corning Cardinals to 32 in the Bulldogs league victory on Friday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Orland for a contest on Tuesday, January 30. Gridley will battle a Trojans team coming off a 54-42 non-league loss to Shasta (Redding, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 8-13.
The Cardinals (6-16) will now prepare for their contest against Oroville (Oroville, CA). The Tigers come into the contest with a 0-17 record. In their last contest, Oroville was routed by Las Plumas (Oroville, CA), 57-20, in a league contest.
