Northeast Guilford Rams (McLeansville, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Eastern Guilford Wildcats (Gibsonville, NC), 62-49 in a league bout.

With the win, Northeast Guilford upgrades its record to 12-1 on the season. The Rams travel to Southern Guilford (Greensboro, NC) to clash with the Storm in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Storm go into the bout with a record of 5-9. Southern Guilford lost 46-45 in their recent non-league bout against Rockingham County (Wentworth, NC)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the High Point Central Bison (High Point, NC) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Eastern Guilford will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Bison go into the bout with a 3-12 record after their 56-33 league loss to Dudley (Greensboro, NC).
