Eastern Montgomery Mustangs (Elliston, VA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Narrows Green Waves (Narrows, VA), 38-27 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Eastern Montgomery upgrades its record to 8-7 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Bath County (Hot Springs, VA) to clash with the Chargers in a non-league bout on Monday, January 29. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 2-10. Bath County lost 29-26 in their recent non-league bout against Craig County (New Castle, VA)

Next up, the Green Waves clash with the Bath County Chargers (Hot Springs, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 2. Narrows will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record.
