In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Eastside Spartans basketball team scored a decisive 46-25 triumph over the Rye Cove Eagles.
In their next game, the Spartans meet the Twin Springs Titans (Nickelsville, VA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, January 30. Eastside will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Titans enter the match with a 6-7 record after their 43-39 non-league win over Castlewood (Castlewood, VA).
