The Elkin Buckin' Elks basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting North Stokes Vikings to 33 in the Buckin' Elks non-league triumph on Friday.

The Buckin' Elks now sport a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Wilkes for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 30. Elkin will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 50-43 non-league loss to Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 10-5.

The Vikings (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Starmount (Boonville, NC). The Rams enter the non-league contest with a 6-7 record. In their last contest, Starmount ran past Forbush (East Bend, NC), 50-42, in a non-league contest.
