The Venice Gondoliers (Los Angeles, CA) basketball nipped the host Fairfax Lions (Los Angeles, CA), 57-55 in Friday's league test.
The Gondoliers (10-3) will now prepare for their test against Westchester (Los Angeles, CA). The Comets go into the test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, Westchester got by University (Los Angeles, CA), 82-65, in a league test.
The Lions now own a 9-7 record. They play next when they host Palisades for a test on Wednesday, January 31.
