North Carolina High School Basketball - Forbush topped by Starmount

January 26, 2024: East Bend, NC 27018

The Starmount Rams basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the host Forbush Falcons to 42 in the Rams non-league victory on Friday.

The Rams now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Stokes for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 30. Starmount will battle a Vikings team coming off a 51-33 non-league loss to Elkin (Elkin, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 6-8.

The Falcons (3-12) will now prepare for their contest against West Wilkes (Millers Creek, NC). The Blackhawks come into the non-league contest with a 5-11 record. In their last contest, West Wilkes was defeated by Surry Central (Dobson, NC), 45-42, in a non-league contest.
