Union Grove Christian Patriots (Lexington, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Gospel Light Christian (Walkertown, NC), 38-32 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Union Grove Christian upgrades its record to 6-10 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Cramerton Christian Academy (Cramerton, NC) to play the Crusaders in a bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Crusaders come into the bout with a record of 9-4. Cramerton Christian Academy won 72-13 in their recent non-league bout against Fayetteville Street Christian (Asheboro, NC)

Next up, the play the Vandalia Christian Vikings (Greensboro, NC) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 29. Gospel Light Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record.
