Grace Davis Spartans (Modesto, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Lathrop Spartans (Lathrop, CA), 54-43 in a league bout.

With the victory, Grace Davis upgrades its record to 12-8 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Pacheco (Los Banos, CA) to play the Panthers in a bout on Wednesday, January 31. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 2-8. Pacheco lost 57-54 in their recent league bout against Ceres (Ceres, CA)

Next up, the Spartans play the Beyer Patriots (Modesto, CA) in a bout, on Wednesday, January 31. Lathrop will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Patriots come into the bout with a 6-6 record after their 83-39 league loss to Mountain House (Mountain House, CA).
