The Handley Judges (Winchester, VA) basketball felled the visiting Kettle Run Cougars (Nokesville, VA), 48-40 in Friday's non-league test.
The Judges (4-3) will now prepare for their test against Brentsville District (Nokesville, VA). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 1-8 record. In their last test, Brentsville District was beaten by Skyline (Front Royal, VA), 47-27, in a non-league test.
The Cougars now own a 9-3 record. They play next when they host Skyline for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 30. Kettle Run will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 47-27 non-league win over Brentsville District (Nokesville, VA). The Hawks record now stands at 12-2.
