The Mark Morris Monarchs basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Hockinson Hawks to 44 in the Monarchs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Monarchs now sport a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Washougal for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 30.

The Hawks (11-8) will now prepare for their contest against Ridgefield (Ridgefield, WA). The Spudders enter the non-league contest with a 13-6 record. In their last contest, Ridgefield ran past R.A. Long (Longview, WA), 71-49, in a non-league contest.
