Jackson Vikings (Jackson, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Tecumseh Indians (Tecumseh, MI), 58-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Jackson upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The Vikings travel to Adrian (Adrian, MI) to clash with the Maples in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Maples go into the bout with a record of 6-4. Adrian won 46-36 in their recent non-league bout against Pinckney (Pinckney, MI)

In their next game, the Indians face the Chelsea Bulldogs (Chelsea, MI) in a non-league game, on Monday, January 29. Tecumseh will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record.
