Wapato Wolves (Wapato, WA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting La Salle Lightning (Union Gap, WA), 63-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Wapato upgrades its record to 11-4 on the season. The Wolves host Royal (Royal City, WA) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 27. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 12-2. Royal won 62-53 in their recent non-league bout against College Place (College Place, WA)

Next up, the Lightning play the Connell Eagles (Connell, WA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 26. La Salle will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 5-9 record after their 54-45 non-league win over College Place (College Place, WA).
