Templeton Eagles (Templeton, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Lompoc Braves (Lompoc, CA), 62-57 in a league bout.

With the win, Templeton upgrades its record to 15-6 on the season. The Eagles travel to Mira Monte (Bakersfield, CA) to clash with the Lions in a non-league bout on Monday, January 29. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Mira Monte won 1-0 in their recent league bout against Arvin (Arvin, CA)

Next up, the Braves clash with the Righetti Warriors (Santa Maria, CA) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Lompoc will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 3-6 record after their 64-52 non-league loss to Mission College Prep (San Luis Obispo, CA).
