Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Woodside Wildcats (Woodside, CA) and the host San Mateo Bearcats (San Mateo, CA), saw Woodside's basketball squad knock off San Mateo by a count of 48-39.

With the victory, Woodside upgrades its record to 14-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to El Camino (South San Francisco, CA) to play the Colts in a challenge on Wednesday, January 31. The Colts come into the challenge with a record of 8-12. El Camino won 56-45 in their recent league challenge against Aragon (San Mateo, CA)

Next up, the Bearcats play the Terra Nova Tigers (Pacifica, CA) in a challenge, on Friday, February 2. San Mateo will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record.
