With the win, Washington County upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Panthers host Perquimans (Hertford, NC) to clash with the Pirates in a bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 7-2. Perquimans won 59-54 in their recent non-league bout against Gates County (Gatesville, NC)

Next up, the Vikings clash with the Gates County Red Barons (Gatesville, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Tarboro will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Red Barons go into the bout with a 4-8 record after their 59-54 non-league loss to Perquimans (Hertford, NC).
