Next, the Chieftains confront the Mater Dei Catholic Crusaders (Chula Vista, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 29. Clairemont will attempt to better on its 8-2 season record. The Crusaders enter the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 1-0 league loss to Castle Park (Chula Vista, CA).

The Vikings now have a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they host Canyon Hills for a City - City challenge on Wednesday, January 31. La Jolla will confront a Rattlers team coming off a 5-2 league win over Morse (San Diego, CA). The Rattlers record now stands at 7-9.
