The Paul VI Panthers basketball team scored 75 points and limited the visiting St. Mary's Ryken Knights to 37 in the Panthers league triumph on Sunday.
The Panthers now possess a 15-5 record. They play next when they host Archbishop Carroll for a Washington Catholic game on Tuesday, January 28. Paul VI will confront a Lions team coming off a 45-28 non-league win over KIPP DC Legacy College Prep (Washington, DC). The Lions record now stands at 1-13.
With the loss, St. Mary's Ryken falls to 14-6 on the campaign. The Knights travel to The Academy of the Holy Cross (Kensington, MD) to confront the Tartans in a Washington Catholic game on Tuesday, January 28. The Tartans go into the game with a record of 7-11. The Academy of the Holy Cross lost 70-51 in their recent league game against Elizabeth Seton (Bladensburg, MD)
