Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the North Platte Bulldogs (North Platte, NE) and the visiting Kearney Bearcats (Kearney, NE), saw North Platte's basketball squad overcome Kearney by a tally of 63-46.
With the victory, North Platte improves its record to 8-7 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Alliance (Alliance, NE) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 29. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 5-12. Alliance lost 48-29 in their recent league challenge against Gering (Gering, NE)
Next up, the Bearcats confront the Lincoln High Links (Lincoln, NE) in a A District TBD challenge, on Friday, January 28. Kearney will attempt to improve on its 9-7 season record. The Links come into the challenge with a 11-2 record after their 49-35 league win over Lincoln East (Lincoln, NE).
