The Spring Hill Bears basketball team (Hope, AR), was nudged 60-57 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Acorn Tigers (Mena, AR)
The Tigers now possess a 16-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Horatio for a 2A Region 7 battle on Tuesday, January 31. Acorn will confront a Lions team coming off a 55-39 league win over Foreman (Foreman, AR). The Lions record now stands at 2-12.
The Bears (6-5) will now prepare for their battle against Dierks (Dierks, AR). The Outlaws come into the 2A Region 7 battle with a 12-2 record.
