In their next game, the Thunderbolts face the Aniak Halfbreeds (Aniak, AK) in a 1A Greater Kuskokwim game, on Friday, January 27. Akiak will attempt to move on its 1-10 season record. The Halfbreeds enter the game with a 4-0 record after their 67-33 league win over Akiak (Akiak, AK).

With the defeat, Kalskag moves to 2-2 on the year.
