South Carolina High School Basketball - Branchville thwarts Allendale-Fairfax

The Branchville Yellow Jackets (Branchville, SC) basketball knocked off the visiting Allendale-Fairfax Tigers (Fairfax, SC), 53-39 in Friday's league test.

The Yellow Jackets (6-10) will now prepare for their test against Estill (Estill, SC). The Fighting Gators go into the A Region 7 test with a 11-7 record. In their last test, Estill notched a victory over Royal Live Oaks Academy (Hardeeville, SC), 70-17, in a league test.

The Tigers now own a 4-12 record. They play next when they host Bethune-Bowman for a A Region 7 test on Monday, January 30. Allendale-Fairfax will encounter a Mohawks squad coming off a 56-45 league loss to Whale Branch (Beaufort, SC). The Mohawks record now stands at 10-8.
