In Friday's league outing, the Alma Panthers (Alma, MI) basketball squad felled the host Birch Run Panthers (Birch Run, MI), by a margin of 60-47.

The Panthers (8-4) will now prepare for their outing against St. Johns (St. Johns, MI). The Redwings go into the non-league outing with a 8-4 record. In their last outing, St. Johns was beaten by Petoskey (Petoskey, MI), 73-65, in a non-league outing.

The Panthers now own a 1-13 record. They play next when they host Freeland for a Tri-Valley - East outing on Friday, February 3. Birch Run will clash with a Falcons squad coming off a 51-41 league win over Bridgeport (Bridgeport, MI). The Falcons record now stands at 7-6.
