Amsterdam Rams (Amsterdam, NY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Gloversville Huskies/Dragons (Gloversville, NY), 69-62 in a league bout.

With the win, Amsterdam upgrades its record to 14-1 on the season. The Rams host Scotia-Glenville (Scotia, NY) to play the Tartans in a Section 2 Foothills bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Tartans go into the bout with a record of 1-15. Scotia-Glenville lost 67-49 in their recent league bout against Broadalbin-Perth (Broadalbin, NY)

Next up, the Huskies/Dragons play the Johnstown Sir Bills (Johnstown, NY) in a Section 2 Foothills bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Gloversville will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record. The Sir Bills go into the bout with a 5-10 record after their 60-58 league win over Queensbury (Queensbury, NY).
