The Yellowjackets now possess a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Martinsville for a 1A Region IV District 27 battle on Tuesday, January 31. Laneville will battle a Pirates team coming off a 92-46 league win over Centerville (Groveton, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 22-5.

The Eagles (6-13) will now prepare for their battle against Slocum (Elkhart, TX). The Mustangs come into the 1A Region IV District 27 battle with a 5-18 record. In their last battle, Slocum beat Kennard (Kennard, TX), 50-37, in a league battle.
