Neenah Rockets (Neenah, WI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Appleton North Lightning (Appleton, WI), 62-41 in a league bout.

With the victory, Neenah upgrades its record to 10-7 on the campaign. The Rockets host Dakota Prairie (Petersburg, ND) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Monday, January 30. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 0-9. Dakota Prairie lost 84-38 in their recent league bout against St. John (St. John, ND)

Next up, the Lightning play the Appleton West Terrors (Appleton, WI) in a Fox Valley bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Appleton North will attempt to upgrade on its 6-12 season record. The Terrors come into the bout with a 5-12 record after their 75-59 league loss to Appleton East (Appleton, WI).
