The Redwood Christian Eagles basketball team (San Lorenzo, CA), was routed 83-36 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Athenian Owls (Danville, CA)
The Owls now sport a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cristo Rey De La Salle for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 28. Athenian will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 81-18 non-league win over Oakland Military Institute (Oakland, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 15-3.
The Eagles (7-13) will now prepare for their battle against Head-Royce (Oakland, CA). The Jayhawks come into the Bay Counties - East battle with a 20-2 record. In their last battle, Head-Royce trounced International (San Francisco, CA), 57-39, in a non-league battle.
