Tennessee High School Basketball - Lenoir City can't hold off Austin-East

The Austin-East Roadrunners basketball team scored 64 points and held the host Lenoir City Panthers to 58 in the Roadrunners league triumph on Friday.
The Roadrunners now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Union County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 31. Austin-East will battle a Patriots team coming off a 67-60 non-league loss to Alcoa (Alcoa, TN). The Patriots record now stands at 7-8.
The Panthers (9-12) will now prepare for their contest against Greenback (Greenback, TN). The Cherokees enter the non-league contest with a 12-10 record.
