The Central Lions basketball team (Hayneville, AL), was overwhelmed 62-30 in Friday's league battle with the host Autaugaville Eagles (Autaugaville, AL)
The Eagles now possess a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ellwood Christian for a 1A Area 5 battle on Saturday, January 28. Autaugaville will confront a Eagles team coming off a 106-22 league loss to Calhoun (Letohatchee, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 0-7.
The Lions (2-11) will now prepare for their battle against Luverne (Luverne, AL). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 4-10 record.
