Bald Eagle Area Bald Eagles (Wingate, PA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Penns Valley Area Rams (Spring Mills, PA), 44-36 in a league bout.

With the victory, Bald Eagle Area upgrades its record to 9-8 on the campaign. The Bald Eagles travel to Northern Cambria (Northern Cambria, PA) to play the Colts in a non-league bout on Monday, January 30. The Colts come into the bout with a record of 9-9. Northern Cambria won 45-35 in their recent league bout against Cambria Heights (Patton, PA)

Next up, the Rams play the Juniata Indians (Mifflintown, PA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 28. Penns Valley Area will attempt to upgrade on its 3-13 season record. The Indians come into the bout with a 8-10 record after their 55-31 league loss to Greenwood (Millerstown, PA).
